Subsea Cloud builds pressure-equalised rather than pressure-vessel data-center pods, container-sized units designed to sit on the seabed at depths from a few metres to several thousand, cooled entirely by ambient seawater and wired into subsea power and fibre. It has pressure-tested prototypes and markets sites in the Gulf of Mexico, North Sea, Singapore and off Port Angeles. No large commercially operating site could be independently verified as of August 2026.
Ecosystem functionBets that cheap pressure-equalised enclosures beat China's engineered pressure vessels on cost, a thesis it has not yet proven at commercial scale.
