LEOcloud developed the Space Edge platform for hosting cloud and edge computing workloads aboard commercial space platforms, placing compute near satellites and station users instead of routing everything to Earth. Voyager Technologies agreed to acquire the company on 3 April 2025 and has since deployed Space Edge to the International Space Station. Before acquisition LEOcloud had partnerships and a planned ISS demonstration but no independent orbital deployment of its own.
Ecosystem functionAn early orbital-cloud software integrator whose absorption into Voyager shows the category consolidating into larger space primes before it has revenue.
