Cadence Design Systems

Cadence sells EDA software, verification IP, and system-design tools used to design chips and the systems around them, including AI accelerators and networking silicon. It is the second-largest EDA vendor after Synopsys. FY2025 revenue was $5.297 billion, up 14% year-over-year, with a record $7.8 billion backlog. In August 2025 Cadence completed the acquisition of Arm's Artisan foundation-IP business, adding standard cells and memory compilers.
